Cape Town ha benedetto il mio inverno con le uscite più belle - sempre ventosa, sempre soleggiata!

 Offre tantissime condizioni diverse per il kitesurf:  da Wave Surfing intorno a Misty Cliffs, 

sessioni di Big Air a Blouberg  alle condizioni di freestyle a Witsand - tutto è possibile.

CONDIZIONI TIPICHE

"Vento intenso, una costa incredibile e tramonti dorati vi lasceranno con bellissimi ricordi di vita!"

La sessione di kitesurf mattutina può essere incredibile,

il vento in genere ha già una forza decente che vi permetterà di fare un pò di kite pre-pranzo. 

Tuttavia se desiderate un vento fotonico, aumenterà nel pomeriggio raggiungendo sua piena forza.

Gli ululati di 45-50 nodi si faranno sentire!

Proprio per questo, ogni anno tantissimi appassionati  di Big Air e PROkiter  la scelgono come meta per le loro vacanze kite o per allenarsi.

L'affidabile vento soffia circa cinque giorni a settimana, proveniente da sud/sud-est vi regalerà condizioni perfette.

Le sessioni di kitesurf al tramonto sono incredibili qui sull'Atlantico con lo sfondo di Table Mountain, sentirete il vento tra i capelli con una vista fantastica , pura libertà!

Tutti gli spot sono facili da raggiungere da Blouberg ed offrono diverse condizioni.

Da Sunset Beach a Big Bay, potrete trovare le condizioni che fanno per voi.

In mezzo a questo tratto si trova la "Kite Beach" che è lo spot più famoso e quello dove si svolge il più grande evento di Kitesurf: The Red Bull King of the Air.

I più famosi Kitesurfers gareggiano aspettando di fare il pieno di adrenalina, alimentati dalle condizioni perfette dello spot.

Lo spot potrebbe essere affollato in una bella giornata ventosa, ma è anche il posto per molti kiter appassionati di Big Air.

Inoltre, le onde migliori si trovano sottovento da Big Bay.

Pertanto, Big Bay può essere il luogo ideale iniziando con una sessione di onde prima che il vento aumenti menti ,per poi dedicarvi ad una sessione di BigAir e Kiteloop.

• Big Bay è uno spot di onda. Grande sot on e off l'acqua. Lo spot dove si svolgeva anni fa il Red Bull King of the Air. Tuttavia, il vento diventa meno affidabile quindi può essere una buona scelta per il vento leggero nel pomeriggio.
• Haakgat  qui si può fare un downwind perfetto al tramonto.
  
• ü Langebaan è un'ora di auto da Blouberg. Questo spot può occasionalmente benedire con buoni kicker e acqua in parte piatta.
  
• ü Shark Bay offre una vasto spot con acqua profonda e chiara dove potrete indossare la vostra muta sottile.
  
• ü Misty Cliffs è un incredibile spot d'onda che si trova proprio accanto a Scarborough.
• ü Hermanus è noto per la sua laguna di marea proprio accanto al mare.
  
• ü Witsand (Breede River) E' un piccolo villaggio di pescatori una delle gemme nascoste del Sud Africa ,vi offre vento quasi tutti i giorni, ed è un posto per tutti i livelli di kiter. Un banco di sabbia protegge la laguna dal mare aperto. Quindi, rende facile chiudere le manovre nell'acqua piatta come il burro. Condizioni Perfette per chi sta imparando e per chi vuole progredire.

Big Air Kite League

"Il nuovo anno è iniziato con pura adrenalina all'evento di Big Air Kite League di Cape Town".

L'evento è stato fantastico, gli spettatori hanno potuto assistere allo spettacolo dalla costa. L'evento Big Air di Città del Capo è stato solo una delle cinque tappe del Tour nel 2022.

Grandi salti, enormi loop, la costante progressione e il superamento dei limiti sono il tema delle tappe in tutto il mondo.

Pertanto, molti amanti del kitesurf e rider da competizione si sono riuniti a Dolphin Beach per sperimentare il fuoco del caldo sull'acqua dolce dell'Atlantico.

Oltre alle mega condizioni e alle grandi surfate, potete riempire la vostra agenda con molte attività ed emozioni a terra.

Vi consiglio di noleggiare un'auto per godervi tutta la natura del Sud Africa.

Gli spot per il kitesurf sono circondati da uno scenario spettacolare che è incredibile tutto l'anno. Guardando i parapendio galleggianti nel tramonto vi renderete conto della diversità di paesaggi che offrre questo luogo. Dai famosi vigneti ai safari nella boscaglia , quasi tutto è possibile.

Se volete fare festa, il vivace stile di vita e di intrattenimento di Cape Town si trovano a soli 20 minuti di auto da Blouberg.

Cape Town has blessed my winter with the most beautiful conditions - always windy, always sunny! I have found myself in the most diverse kitesurfing conditions: from Wave Surfing around Misty Cliffs, Big Air sessions at Blouberg to Freestyle conditions in Witsand - everything is possible. Therefore, Cape Town is one of the most hyped spots between the months of October to March and definitely worth a visit.

TYPICAL CONDITIONS

"Dense wind, an incredible coastline and golden sunsets will leave you with memories of life!"

The morning kitesurfing session can be amazing, but in the morning the wind would typically have a decent strength and is good for some pre-lunch kiting. However, the wind will either build up or stay moderate before kicking in full strength. While enjoying a cup of coffee during sunrise you can wait for the wind to reach its average of 15-35knots. 

However, if the coffee was not too strong enough the wind will wake you up and blow the lice out of your eyes. 

Howling 45-50knots lead many Big Air Kitesurfers and venue holders to Cape Town. The reliable wind blows around five days per week, coming from the south and southeast for perfect conditions. Sunset kitesurfing sessions are amazing here - feeling the wind in your hair as you cruise over the Atlantic with the backdrop of Table Mountain is pure freedom!

All spots are easy to reach from Blouberg but distinguish themselves by their conditions. From Sunset Beach to Big Bay, you can find the conditions which suit you. In between this stretch you can find the "Kite Beach" which is the most famous kitesurfing spot and the one where the biggest Kitesurfing event take place - The Red Bull King of the Air. The most famous Kitesurfers are waiting to boost their adrenaline fueled by wind. The spot might be crowded on a good, windy day but is also the places for many Big Air riders. Besides, the best waves can be found downwind from Big Bay. Therefore, Big Bay can be the spot for an early wave session before the wind gets stronger for a Big Kiteloop session.

Big Air Kite League

"The new year started off with pure adrenaline at the Big Air Kite League in Cape Town."

The event was fired up by big jumps and massive loops where spectators could watch the show along the shoreline. The Big Air event in Cape Town was only one of the five Tour stops in 2022. Constant progression and pushing the limits is the theme of the venues hold all around the world. Therefore, many kitesurfing lovers and competition riders gathered together up at Dolphin Beach to experience the fire of the heat on the fresh water of the Atlantic.

NON-WINDY DAYS

"Sunrise or sunset hikes are famous side-kicks for non-windy days!"

Besides mega conditions and big moves you can fill your agenda with many activities and thrills on land. A car is recommended to enjoy all the nature of South Africa. The kitesurfing spots are surrounded by a spectacular scenery which is all-year-round incredible. Overlooking the nightlife and watching paragliders floating into the sunset makes the diversity of this place clear. From famous vineyards to safari in the bush, almost everything is possible. If you want to go partying, the vibrant lifestyle and entertainment of Cape Town is just a short 20-minute drive from Blouberg.

Definitely bring your thick wetsuit, even if you will see someone in a shorty or boardshorts - that's usually only the locals!

• Big Bay, is a wave spot. Great sot on and off the water. Prior spot for the Red Bull King of the Air. However, the wind gets less reliable further down Sunset Beach, so when Sunset beach is blowing Big Bay usually has a little less wind and might therefore be a good choice for light wind rider in the afternoon
• Haakgat from sunset to here you can do a perfect downwinder

ü Shark Bay offers a large area with waist deep and clear water. Also a good sport for a thin wetsuit or ü Langebaan is one hour by car from Blouberg. This spot can occasionally bless you with good kickers and partly flat watershorty.

ü Misty Cliffs is an incredible wave spot lying right next to Scarborough

ü Hermanus is known for its tidal lagoon right next to the sea

ü Witsand (Breede River) A small fishing village provides you mostly everyday with wind and is a spot for all levels of riders. A sandbar protects the open sea from the lagoon. Thus, makes sampling kickers easy right next to butter flat water. Perfect starting-off conditions and one of the hidden gems of South Africa.
